Spud visits the world's longest covered bridge in Hartland, New BrunswickNew Brunswick

Spud just squeaked into Canada's Maritimes for the first time in August of 1997 when he made a side trip to Hartland, New Brunswick.

Checking his travel guide for things to see and do in the province, he came across an attraction to surpass them all; the world's longest covered bridge. Even more appealing than visiting the world's biggest stump, Spud couldn't resist traveling the 5 hours to see it. Spud had planned to take in more of the Maritimes' sites, but the excitement generated from the bridge was too much for Spud to handle. When he regains his composure, he plans to return and see more.
